The Lincoln Chamber of Commerce (lcoc.com) is proud to recognize Katie Bohlmeyer, Business Policy Advocate at the Lincoln Chamber, for inclusion in the 2025 Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives’ (ACCE) “40 Under 40” list.
ACCE’s 40 Under 40 program recognizes the top emerging leaders in the chamber of commerce industry who have demonstrated success in their careers and made significant contributions in the communities they represent.
Katie made a lasting impact through her leadership of the recent vote in 2025 to extend the Lincoln on the Move quarter-cent sales tax to fund road improvements and repairs throughout the community. She was recognized for the ability to gather financial and political support from the private sector and worked closely with local elected officials in advancing this essential public investment, as the measure before voters passed with 68 percent of the vote.
The ACCE 40 Under 40 list is comprised of CEOs and staff professionals from a wide variety of roles and chamber sizes. Their creativity, dedication and commitment to identifying innovative solutions will help shape the future of the chamber profession and connect with communities. Katie was nominated by Bruce Bohrer, Executive VP and General Counsel at the Lincoln Chamber of Commerce and has been in her current role as business policy advocate since May 2023.
