Majda Hadzic Named Chase’s Market Director of Banking for Nebraska

Chase (chase.com) has named veteran banker Majda Hadzic as its market director of banking in Nebraska and Iowa where she will oversee the bank’s continued retail expansion, bringing jobs and economic growth to the region. Most recently, Hadzic was a district manager for Wells Fargo in Des Moines and led a team of managers, bankers, and tellers.

A graduate of Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa, Majda earned her bachelor’s degree in political science and sociology. Majda also brings a history of community involvement to her role. Majda and her team have joined the Midlands African Chamber, Inc., and she sits on the board of CultureALL (a provider of cultural programming in central Iowa). She also is a member of the United Way business services segment. Majda’s personal story has shaped her into the leader she is today. When she was young, her family fled from their home in war-torn Bosnia, seeking safety in several different countries before moving to the United States.
