“Construction is one of the best examples of people coming together to build something meaningful,” Marty shared. “Pre-construction stood out to me because it’s the stage where collaboration really drives results, working with owners, architects, engineers and trade partners to ensure design, budget and schedule align.”
Among his career highlights, Marty points to the Embassy Suites in La Vista, Nebraska, a seven-story hotel and conference center. “It was a challenging project because of the size and scope, but incredibly rewarding to coordinate so many moving parts and deliver a landmark property for the community,” he said.
“What excites me most about joining Schwisow Construction is the people and the culture,” Marty added. “It’s clear the team is collaborative, professional and committed to doing things the right way. I look forward to building strong relationships with clients and helping set projects up for success.”
Outside of work, Marty enjoys time with his wife, four daughters, three sons-in-law and eleven grandchildren, with another on the way. He also loves beach vacations, live music and kayaking. When asked about his favorite tool, Marty didn’t hesitate: “Communication. Just like a hammer or tape measure, it’s essential for getting the job done right.”
