Morgan Chiropractic & Acupuncture Welcomes Dr. Shelby Carter as Associate Chiropractor
Morgan Chiropractic & Acupuncture, PC (www.morganchiroandacu.com) recently added Dr. Shelby Carter, DC to the team as an associate chiropractor. Dr. Shelby is a Nebraska native, who grew up outside of Lincoln. She was an avid athlete that played select/travel softball in Lincoln and went on to play softball at Briar Cliff University. During her softball career, she experienced some unfortunate injuries that resulted in an interest in body mechanics and injury prevention. This experience initiated an interest in health care and started her on the path to help others as a chiropractor.
After hanging up her cleats, Dr. Shelby transferred to New Mexico Tech. She graduated from New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology with a bachelor’s in biology with a minor in chemistry. She continued her education and earned a master’s in sports science and rehabilitation from Logan University in 2016. While completing her master’s degree, she was exposed to the chiropractic program at Logan University. Dr. Shelby graduated from Logan University with her Doctorate in Chiropractic in December 2019.
Dr. Shelby is a great addition to the team at Morgan Chiropractic & Acupuncture because understands the benefits of co-treating with massage therapy, acupuncture, and cupping. Some of her health care interests include athletics, pediatrics, and pregnancy. When she has free time, she enjoys reading books, working out, and spending time with her dog.
