Kevin Schow, Schow Auction Service, Paxton, has been elected president of the 250-member Nebraska Auctioneers Association (www.nebraskaauctioneers.com) for 2015-2016. His election was announced at the 67th Annual Convention of the Association held at the Marriott Hotel in Omaha May 29-31, 2015.
Regina Andrijeski, Old West Realty & Auction, Curtis, was elected President-Elect, and Miles Marshall, Marshall Land Brokers & Auctioneers, Kearney, was elected Vice President.
Newly elected Board Members include Brian Isernhagen, BHI Auction Services, Deshler; Trevor Moravec, Ritchie Brothers, Lincoln; and Bruce McDowell, McDowell Auction Service, Trumbull, Nebraska.
In conjunction with the convention, Russ Moravec, Moravec Auction Company, David City, was named Nebraska Auctioneer of the Year. Marvin Caspers, Marvin Caspers Real Estate and Auctions, Auburn, and Randy Ruhter, Ruhter Auction and Realty, Hastings, were inducted into the Nebraska Auctioneers Association Hall of Fame.
Curtis Wetovick, C W Auctions, Fullerton; Karlee Schow, daughter of Kevin and Kim Schow and granddaughter of Dean and Leah Schow, Schow Auction Service, LLC, Paxton; and Michaela Mapes, The Auction Mill, Omaha, were awarded $1,000 college scholarships by the Association and the Auxiliary.
