NESC Announces the Promotions of Four Key Employees
The Nebraska Safety Council (NESC) (nesafetycouncil.org) recently acknowledged the promotions of four key employees in the organization.
Valerie Haschke has been promoted to director of operations. She has been with NESC since 2015 and served in various capacities. Karen Rehm joined NESC in 2020 and recently went from road safety project coordinator to wellness services manager. She has more than 18 years of experience in developing engaging programs and looks forward to this new role. Saige Walker (not pictured) took on the role of traffic manager at the beginning of this year after previously holding the positions of office support assistant and later as the traffic coordinator. She’s been with NESC since 2019. Syd Horken (not pictured) has officially transitioned into the role of safety coordinator. She joined NESC in 2020 and previously served as an office support assistant.
“Without the dedication of our employees, we would not have been able to survive and thrive this last year. The year 2020 offered new opportunities of growth for our team and for that, I am very thankful,” said Lisa Henning, executive director of NESC.
