Nonprofit Association of the Midlands Announces 2020 Program Participants

The Nonprofit Association of the Midlands (NAM) (www.nonprofitam.org), which supports more than 600 nonprofit organizations in Nebraska and southwest Iowa, has announced the 2020 class of nonprofit participants for its Nonprofit Executive Institute (NEI) and Rising Leaders Institute (RLI).

Created in 2007, NEI is an 11-month training program that develops nonprofit leaders’ skills and strategies to enhance organizational sustainability and transform the communities they serve. The program focuses on capacity-building seminars to develop ethical, innovative, prosperous, strategic and visionary public leaders. The 2020 class was selected by the NEI Leadership Team, which includes volunteers from the nonprofit sector who have successfully completed the program. The following area nonprofit leaders make up the 2020 class:

In addition to the NEI class, NAM announced 15 leaders for its 2020 Rising Leaders Institute, a partnership with the Young Nonprofit Professionals Network of Greater Omaha to enhance the leadership capacity of young Omaha nonprofit professionals. RLI is a one-year program that provides young professionals with skills to obtain a nonprofit leadership position through mentoring and facilitated discussion with experts.
