Pemberly Place Welcomed Morgan Essman to Team as Administrative Assistant in 2020

Amid the challenges of 2020, Pemberly Place Senior Care Living Community (pemberlyplace.com) welcomed Morgan Essman to their team on June 24, 2020, as their new administrative assistant. Morgan has been around the senior-living industry for years, having begun working with the elderly population when she was 16 years old. She worked at Legacy Retirement Community as a dining-room server before working her way up to Supervisor of the Dining Room and then to Weekend Dining Room Coordinator. Morgan also worked as a part-time concierge at The Woodlands for two years while she was going to college. She is currently working on her Master’s degree, with a goal of eventually becoming an administrator or marketing director at a retirement community—a goal of hers since a young age, when her grandmother fell and broke her femur. Her family visited her grandmother in rehab often, watching her make new friends at a place where she felt at home.

A native of Lincoln, Morgan attended Lincoln East High School, including traveling to Florida for six months to complete the Disney College Program. She also played varsity softball and bowling, and is proud to still hold the state softball record for the most doubles hit in a game. ‘Have courage and be kind’ is her favorite saying, which is a perfect match for her new position. At Pemberly Place, Morgan is enjoying learning more about gerontology, is happy to share her technology support and experience, and has brought organization and consistency to the Pemberly front door.

Pemberly Place Senior Care Living Community offers levels of senior living that are tailored to each resident, including independent, assisted, and memory-care living. For more information, visit pemberlyplace.com or call (402) 413-9770.
