Homestead Rehabilitation Center—nationally recognized for commitment to quality—has added Shannon George, RN, BSN, as Assistant Director of Nursing. She will assist the director of nursing, expand the staff development program and recruit top nursing and care staff.
“I chose to join the Homestead Rehabilitation leadership team because I was impressed with their vision for the present and future needs of the residents and their families,” said George. “I have been afforded the opportunity to be a part of an integrated clinical team that promotes quality care, as well as the dignity and independence for those we serve.”
George has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing with Highest Distinction from Nebraska Wesleyan University and over 13 years of healthcare experience.
Homestead Rehabilitation Center offers short-stay rehabilitation, long-term nursing care, memory support and respite. Homestead is open for admissions and therapy seven days a week, is Medicare/Medicaid certified and accepts VA.
