Schwisow Construction (schwisow.com) is proud to spotlight Eric Philippi, who is celebrating an incredible 36 years with the company. Eric joined the team shortly after high school and quickly prove himself a natural leader. He became a foreman in 1994 and earned his first white Schwisow truck, a milestone he still remembers fondly.

Eric’s work ethic is admired across the company. “Eric is extremely detail-oriented and highly conscientious about his work,” said CEO Doug Blum. “He makes sure the number one priority is everyone going home safely at the end of each workday.”

Don Wilcox, VP of Field Operations, added, “Eric has a can-do attitude with everything thrown his way. His quality of workmanship is top notch, and he never wavers from that standard.”

Today, Eric is leading one of the most demanding and complex projects in Schwisow’s recent history. Don notes that he has “been able to think outside the box to solve issues we don’t typically run into,” while Doug highlights his significant role in advancing the company’s safety initiatives.

Eric is grateful for the mentors who helped shape his career and now enjoys passing that knowledge on to others. And if you know him well, you also know his dedication does not end at construction. His impressive KISS collection could give Gene Simmons a run for his money.
