Strictly Business Magazine (strictlybusinessomaha.com) is pleased to announce the addition of Megan Walsh to our editorial team as one of our newest Managing Editors. Megan will be joining Savannah in a co-editorial role, where she will play a key part in overseeing content development for both our Lincoln and Omaha editions. Her responsibilities will include writing and editing columns, press releases, and feature stories, managing and mentoring a team of writers, coordinating editorial calendars, and ensuring each issue aligns with our publication’s high standards and voice.
Megan brings a strong background in writing and communication to her role at Strictly Business. She is currently pursuing her PhD at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln (UNL), where she teaches undergraduate English courses. Before moving to Lincoln, Megan lived in Raleigh, North Carolina, where she earned her master’s degree at North Carolina State University. She originally hails from Baltimore, Maryland. Her move to the Midwest marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter both professionally and personally.
Now a resident of Lincoln, Megan lives with her boyfriend, her younger sister, and their two mischievous cats. Outside of work and academia, Megan enjoys traveling to live concerts, always eager to discover new music. Megan is also deeply interested in sustainable fashion, digital collage art, and all things related to popular culture—a combination that adds fresh perspective to her editorial eye.
