Kaitlyn J. Stara is the Executive Assistant at Strictly Business Magazine, and she brings sunshine wherever she goes. With a background in advertising, public relations, and psychology, Kaitlyn has a natural gift for connecting with people, communicating clearly, and keeping everything running smoothly, with kindness at the center of it all. She’s a big believer that good business starts with good relationships, and she infuses every project with heart, enthusiasm, and thoughtful attention to detail.
Kaitlyn grew up on an acreage just outside Lincoln, where country air, family time, and lots of animals shaped her calm, grounded personality. She earned her degree from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, where she fell even more in love with learning, writing, and creative storytelling. Her experience ranges from Movement Academy to New Day Coffee Shop to freelance communication work for small businesses, including her husband’s irrigation company and her mom’s skincare business. She has always had a passion for helping others shine.
When she’s not at work, you’ll likely find Kaitlyn baking something sweet, sipping coffee, taking in a pretty sunset, traveling, or cheering on the Huskers with her husband, Carter, and their adorable mini poodle, Benny. She loves all things pink, dogs, family time, and cozy days.
