Sumner Place (sumnerplacecare.com) announced the appointment of Janessa as its new Admissions and Public Relations Coordinator. In this role, Janessa is responsible for welcoming families into the facility and ensuring their transition into care is smooth and comfortable.
Her duties include being a positive first impression for families and helping maintain a safe and welcoming atmosphere at Sumner Place. Additionally, she works to connect with local businesses focused on senior care and builds strong professional relationships.
Janessa brings five years of experience in the non-profit sector, where she focused on youth and young adult homelessness prevention within the Lincoln community. There, she guided individuals through programming and helped them begin their journey to independence. At Sumner Place, she applies her skills in interpersonal communication, customer service and positivity to support seniors at the opposite end of the spectrum.
