The Mediation Center (themediationcenter.org) is pleased to announce Kyle Kelley as its new Director of Facilitation and Training. Kelley earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Nebraska College of Law in May 2025 and was admitted to the Nebraska State Bar in September. His legal expertise, combined with an interest-based approach to mediation, strengthens The Center’s team in helping individuals and families resolve disputes effectively.
Mediation offers a non-adversarial way to address conflicts. Almost any dispute can be mediated if both parties agree to participate. In his new role, Kelley will work closely with The Center’s affiliated mediators to facilitate small claims cases, juvenile custody conferences, and other disputes. He is also trained in mediating parenting plan cases, divorces and a variety of other conflict situations. His appointment reflects The Mediation Center’s
commitment to expanding access to alternative dispute resolution services throughout the community.
The Mediation Center is one of six community centers in Nebraska approved and regulated by the Nebraska Office of Dispute Resolution. Each year, the Center supports hundreds of individuals and families facing challenges such as poverty, violence, divorce, eviction, property disputes, foster care placement and substance abuse.
