The Nebraska Cancer Research Center Welcomes Heather Murray-Wollen, RN, BSN

The Nebraska Cancer Research Center (NCRC) (www.necancerresearch.org) Program has announced the addition of Heather Murray-Wollen, RN, BSN as Clinical Research Nurse. Heather will work in conjunction with the oncologists at Nebraska Hematology-Oncology, PC and Southeast Nebraska Cancer Center to screen and enroll patients to national, state of the art, clinical trials.

Heather received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Metropolitan State College of Denver.

Over the past 31 years, NCRC has partnered with Bryan Health, Nebraska Hematology Oncology, PC, Southeast Nebraska Cancer Center and CHI Health Saint Elizabeth to enroll more than 1,900 patients and individuals in treatment, cancer control and prevention studies through the NCRC.  NCRC provides local access to National Cancer Institute-sponsored clinical trials, many of the same studies available through the Mayo Clinic, MD Anderson, and other renowned cancer centers.
