The Lincoln Family Medicine Program is pleased to announce Tyne Muggy Ringsmuth, MA, has completed the necessary requirements for the credential of licensed mental health practitioner. She has also been promoted to the status of faculty member at the Lincoln Family Medicine Program.
Ringsmuth graduated with distinction from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a double major in Psychology and Sociology. She obtained a Master of Arts in Counseling degree from Doane College of Lincoln. Ringsmuth has received extensive training to work with people throughout the lifespan, providing assistance for a variety of behavioral and mental health disorders. She has had specialized training working with women struggling with peripartum mental health issues. Ringsmuth is currently a member of the Nebraska Psychological Association and the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine.
The Lincoln Family Medicine Program (LFMP) is a part of the Lincoln Medical Education Partnership (LMEP), which opened more than 30 years ago to train family medicine physicians in response to a growing need for primary care providers.
