Union Bank & Trust (UBT) (ubt.com) recently hired Mackenzie Waldron as Personal Trust Officer in the Personal Trust–Wealth Management division.
Waldron joins the bank with two years of experience in estate planning, trust and estate administration, entity formation and business succession planning. In her role at UBT, she’ll provide a supporting role to senior trust officers in administration of trusts, estates, agencies and conservatorships. Waldron will also monitor daily operations of trust accounts with the investment officers and assist with the department’s tax reporting process.
A graduate of the University of Nebraska–Lincoln with a bachelor’s degree in math and economics, Waldron completed her juris doctor with highest distinction at the University of Nebraska College of Law, where she was managing editor of the Nebraska Law Review, Volume 98, a member of the Order of the Coif and a recipient of the Guy Cleveland Chambers Award and several CALI Excellence for the Future Awards. She’s a current member of the Nebraska State Bar Association’s Executive Committee of the Elder Law and Special Needs Section and a past volunteer for the Eastern Nebraska Office on Aging.
