Union Bank & Trust (www.ubt.com) recently promoted Amber Estes to controllers system and operations officer.
Estes joined UBT in 2007 as a teller and has served in various supervisory roles since joining the Controllers team in 2008. In her new position, she’ll act as the liaison between Controllers and the Information Technology (IT) department to maintain software programs and applications. She’ll also be responsible for the implementation of new Controllers software and technology to help gain efficiencies through automation and ensuring that new software in other departments matches bank policy and regulatory requirements.
A graduate of Doane College with a bachelor’s degree in accounting, she serves the community as a volunteer coach for youth sports and is treasurer of the Panther Youth Volleyball Club Board.
