Melson started at UBT as a teller, eventually becoming a credit analyst. In her new role, she will be responsible for underwriting and structuring commercial loans; managing, servicing, and expanding the bank’s existing loan portfolio; and supporting women owned businesses through commercial lending.

A Lincoln native, Melson earned a bachelor’s degree in finance banking and risk management from UNL in 2022. Outside of work, she has served on the board of directors for The Friends of Lied and Girls on the Run of Nebraska, and she has been involved with Lincoln Young Professionals Group and RISE Lincoln.
