With 35 years of industry experience, Baumert joined Union Bank in 1985 as an Ag Loan Officer in Wahoo. Baumert holds a degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Nebraska—Lincoln and attended the Graduate School of Banking in Colorado. He is responsible for the Lincoln and Greater Nebraska Ag Lending Offices and ensuring continued excellence in portfolio quality and community presence.
Baumert serves on the Board of the Catholic Foundation of the Lincoln Diocese and the Bishop Neumann High School Endowment Board. He is also a member and past Treasurer of the Saunders County Livestock Association, past Board Chairman of Saunders Medical Center, and active in various roles in St Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Wahoo.
