Union Bank & Trust (UBT) (ubt.com) recently promoted John Larsen to assistant vice president of its Corporate Trust department.

Larsen joined UBT in 2008, starting in customer service and eventually becoming a Corporate Trust Officer. In his new role, Larsen will be responsible for processing debt service payments, non-discretionary investment of assets, and monitoring compliance with covenants.

A native of Fullerton, Larsen graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2010 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. He has since earned his Corporate Trust Master Certification (CTMC) and become a Certified IRA Services Professional (CISP). Larsen also serves as a board member of Pheasants Forever, a nonprofit dedicated to wildlife conservation, and as secretary of the Cornhusker Chapter.

Union Bank & Trust is a privately owned Nebraska-based bank offering banking, lending, investment, and trust services.
