Originally from North Platte, Joey decided to enter into the mortuary field after the passing of his uncle. He studied mortuary science and received his certification from Des Moines Area Community College. At Wyuka, Joey supervises and cares for the deceased in a respectful manner while performing a variety of tasks related to embalming. He takes calls, talks with families, answers questions, provides initial details, and assists with contracts and legal documents.
