R. Heather Ropes to Hold Book Signing to Celebrate New Book April 1
R. Heather Ropes (heatherropes.com) will be at A Novel Idea Bookstore on Friday, April 1, for a book signing celebrating her newest book, Pencil Strokes, An Affirmation Coloring Book. The signing will be from 5:30 to 7 p.m. A Novel Idea is located at 118 N 14th St.
Heather combined the essence of three great powers – spirituality, positivity, and creativity – to make this unique coloring book. Pencil Strokes is a joyful offering of hand-drawn art and encouraging affirmations. Associated thought-provoking, insightful essays enrich the act of coloring the 52 original drawings. The book was designed to promote creativity, relaxation, and reflection while enriching spirituality and free thought. The book will be available for purchase at the book signing or can be found online at Amazon and Target.
R. Heather Ropes has lived border-to-border and coast-to-coast in the United States and rarely travels without her drawing supplies. Her exposure to art began at an early age in Montana and Santa Fe. Through her great-grandmother’s readings from Unity Church’s Daily Word, affirmative text was also an early influence.
