Raising Cane’s restaurant owner Justin Jones presented Bob Downey of the Capital Humane Society a check for $504 as part of the local restaurant’s annual holiday plush puppy promotion and in-store fundraising efforts during the months of November and December. Sales of the talking puppy from the Lincoln restaurant benefited the Capital Humane Society – a local nonprofit organization that serves the community by sheltering unwanted pets, acting as an advocate for animal welfare, and striving to educate the public about responsible pet care.
Raising Cane’s was also pleased to announce they raised $1735 for the Food Bank of Lincoln in coordination with the Lincoln Stars and Revolution Wraps through a goalie stick auction on January 15th.
