SP Group, P.C. (www.spgrouppc.com) tax season interns recently organized a color-themed team builder to break up the grind of tax season and to bring some much-needed life and energy into the firm to help the team cross the April 15 deadline. This year’s tax season interns included Livia Wilhelm and Madilynn Miller, both of Nebraska Wesleyan University; Ashlyn Teten of Peru State University; and Andrew Liberty of the University of Nebraska- Lincoln. Together, they conceptualized the “Color Party” team builder to add a little color to the tax season!

On a late Friday afternoon near the end of March with the tax deadline in sight, the interns “colorized” SP Nation with colorful decorations, fruit trays, candies, snacks, and beverages, along with some upbeat music to keep the energy up. As part of immersing their interns into the SP culture, they were tasked with the directive of getting to know their teammates and sharing it! Each team member was recognized with a “Most Likely To” award from the interns’ perspective. Lots of laughs and fun were had by all as they capped off another successful intern season.
