Get ready, Lincoln! The Arc of Lincoln’s (thearc.org) Annual Honey Sunday is back on for the month of November. This cherished community tradition is more than just a chance to stock up on delicious local honey—it’s a way to make a difference for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and their families.

Honey Sunday began more than 60 years ago in Grand Island, when a group of parents joined together to fund a special education teacher for their children. While education and opportunities for people with disabilities have grown tremendously since then, the need for advocacy and support continues—and Honey Sunday remains a sweet way to give back.

Here’s how you can help:

  • Buy Honey Bears!
  • $8 per 12-ounce bear
  • 88 per case (12 bears) — plus a special offer: buy 11, get 1 free!
  • Double Your Impact!
  • Donate a case of honey to the Lincoln Food Bank in your name.

How to Order:

Every bear purchased supports The Arc of Lincoln’s mission: advocating for and empowering people with IDD and their families, promoting their rights, and enriching the quality of their lives.

Join them for Honey Sunday 2025—help keep this tradition alive, one sweet bear at a time!
