Tabitha Health Care Services—Nebraska’s longest serving hospice provider—announces the addition of Brenda Kastens, LMHP, as Hospice Counselor. Once part of Tabitha’s Adult Day Services, Kastens returned with seven years counseling experience to care for the hospice patients and families in 29 Nebraska counties served by Tabitha.
Kastens is a Licensed Mental Health Practitioner who brings private practice and education experience to the Tabitha Hospice team. She is one of two Nebraskan Fellow Thanatologists, receiving her advanced certification in the discipline of death, dying and bereavement from the Association of Death Education Counseling.
