The YMCA of Lincoln (YMCALincoln.org) is pleased to announce that the Fallbrook YMCA will be hosting its 6th Annual Youth Triathlon on Monday, September 5, in support of the YMCA Annual Fundraising Campaign-Strong Kids. The Youth Triathlon route will start at 9 a.m. and end at the Fallbrook YMCA (700 Penrose Dr. STE B) with the race route throughout the Fallbrook neighborhood. The race consists of a swim, bike, and run with designated distances based on age (open to kids ages 5 and up). All skill levels are encouraged to participate in this fun, untimed event. Registration is $20 per participant and will include a t-shirt for all those registered prior to August 16.

“This event is a great way to give kids a taste of the triathlon setting in a fun and non-competitive environment,” commented Kelly Fink, health and wellness director for the Fallbrook YMCA.

All proceeds from the event will go to the YMCA Annual Fundraising Campaign-Strong Kids, which provides youth programming and services for children in need who would not otherwise be able to participate due to financial limitations.
