Rustic. American-Made. Customized. Inspired.

That “look” you’ve been looking for in your home.

Barnwood & Leather, which recently opened in southwest Lincoln, is the love child of Mike and Brenda Clark. It all started when they were in the process themselves—looking for unique furniture that would fit just as comfortably in their home as it would in a lake cabin. Based on a recommendation from friends who had discovered a place to find such furniture, Mike and Brenda traveled out of state on their quest and met some incredible people in the industry who offered the exact “look” the couple had envisioned. Mike and Brenda were inspired by the process and the final product, so they decided to make it their mission to bring that rustic feel to Lincoln.

Barnwood & Leather’s pieces include custom designed leather and fabric home furniture along with a wide variety of wood dining, kitchen, bar, and occasional tables. Mike and Brenda are proud to mainly work with small business owners who manufacture American-made furniture products. They are thrilled to exclusively offer unique and inspired barnwood furniture and custom cabinet options coming from north-central America made by craftsmen who pride themselves in creating each piece. They also offer a line of handcrafted dining furniture pieces made of American hardwoods as well as upholstered and fine leather living room furniture manufactured in the USA.

Several of the pieces in this photo are made by local craftspersons (e.g., the coffee table, the wooden vases on the coffee table, and the vase sitting on the side table).  The sofa, side table, bar stool, and book case are all made in the USA by varying small businesses who supply American-made products.

This unique console table made of reclaimed barnwood gives a new spin on a TV entertainment center.

Inspired by togetherness, this gray conversation sofa with all of the pillows is a hometown favorite. Barnwood & Leather has custom designed it in various sizes, fabric, and leather combinations.

This octagon coffee table is also made of repurposed barnwood and adds character to any room it’s in. Plus, it’s one of Brenda’s favorite pieces.

As Mike and Brenda move forward in the industry, they want to continue to look for unique pieces made by American companies. They will also continue to explore more opportunities for working with local vendors and artists in an effort to help each other grow their businesses.
