Michael Bailey, President, founded the company in 1989. Current management team consists of Lori Fischer and Lisa Daniels, both Vice Presidents.

Benefit Professionals realizes the companies we serve deserve personalized service. Most employers are not aware of all of the compliance requirements that exist when offering a group medical plan. More employee notification requirements have been added over the past several years and there will be new ones to come with Health Care Reform. As their broker, our clients can rely on us to keep them completely informed and hold their hands throughout the process. All team members are dedicated to providing our clients with exceptional support and service on a day to day basis.
What kind of community organizations/groups are you involved with?
Benefit Professionals believes in supporting the communities in which we do business in and are members of several Chambers of Commerce as well as the State Chamber and the US Chamber. Benefit Professionals is also a supporter of Cedars Youth Services and the Nebraska Association of Legal Administrators.

Benefit Professionals, Inc. was founded with the objective of providing quality solutions that exceed our client’s needs and expectations. We believe in earning our client’s business every day. Quality is our main mission and it applies to everything we do.
What changes have you seen in the industry and your company in the past few years?
The industry is ever changing. Laws, regulations and notice requirements are constantly being adjusted. It is very important for employers small or large to work with a broker that will take care of all of the requirements to keep them in compliance.
What do you see happening with the business in the next five years?
Health Care Reform will have a major impact in our business within the next five years and we are committed to educating our clients of how these changes may impact their business.
What is one of the biggest challenges that your company has faced?
It is always a challenge to help employers offer the best benefits at the lowest cost. This involves finding innovative funding arrangements and ongoing communication with employees to make sure they understand the value of the benefits they have.
What is the most unique or interesting thing about your business that most people don’t know?
Benefits are generally the 2nd largest expense a company has next to payroll. They’re also a key determining factor in employee loyalty. It’s extremely important to have a broker that will work hard for both the employer and the employees to put the employer in the best position for the long term grown of the company.
