Crepe Café (Crepe-Cafe.com) has become a local favorite in Lincoln thanks to its commitment to simple ingredients, bold flavors, and a slow, thoughtful approach to growth. Owned by Paul Larsen, the business began with deep roots in food truck culture, bringing fresh-made crepes directly to the community, and has since expanded to include Uber Eats delivery and operations at 2700 S St.

Paul has been intentional about how and when he expands, ensuring quality never wavers. The menu, a true labor of love, reflects years of perfecting batter recipes, flavor combinations, and the use of garlic and herb butter to elevate every savory crepe. Fan favorites include the Banana & Nutella crepe, the café’s top-selling sweet option, as well as savory staples like pepperoni pizza, chicken bacon cheese, and breakfast crepes. Guests can also build their own custom creation.

What truly sets Crepe Café apart is its blend of affordability, flexibility, and hospitality. The food truck provides mobility for events, and the business is beginning to offer catering services, including hosting receptions, networking events, and parties. Crepe Café recently catered its first Christmas party and now has access to a beautiful rental space inside the historic Masonic Lodge.

Paul brings a unique background to the business. A California native, he served in both the Air Force and Army. After deployment, he moved to Lincoln in 2010 to create a fresh start for himself and his daughter. His military experience shaped his philosophy: “One of the things the military taught me was to keep things simple. And that’s what I’ve done—simple ingredients making delicious flavors and bites.”

People doubted the idea at first—“Why would you put crepes on a truck?”—but Paul proved them wrong. With chef Myrna now leading the cooking and Paul focusing on expansion, the business is better positioned than ever to grow its presence, catering offerings, and community involvement.

Crepes are made quickly, making the café ideal for events that require fast, fresh, crowd-pleasing food. Whether enjoyed from the food truck, delivered through Uber Eats, or served at an event, Crepe Café continues to deliver flavor, comfort, and creativity in every bite.
