Engineered Controls’ vision is to participate in projects to transform the way buildings are designed, built, and operated; and to create environmentally responsible, profitable, and healthy places to live and work. From the integration of new control technologies into their designs, to the contracting work they engage in, Engineered Controls is participating in the green movement in construction right here in Nebraska and Iowa.
Building Automation Systems can earn LEED points a variety of ways. Categories include:
- Potable water use reduction
- Lighting controls
- Sensors for Occupancy and CO2
- Measurement and recording
- Building automation system
Engineered Controls has participated in the following Green building projects, to name a few.

Metro Community College – Engineered Controls provided the environmental control system for the new – three building complex at Metropolitan Community College – Fort Omaha Campus. The 252,000-sq. ft. facility is responsible for providing advanced educational opportunities for the Omaha area. The MCC project is projected to achieved LEED Gold certification.
Established in 1994, Engineered Controls offers complete turnkey building control solutions including system design, new construction and owner-direct retrofit sales, installation, repair service, and preventative maintenance work for smart buildings.
