With over 37 years of experience working with children, Dawn has built World of Knowledge around the belief that every child deserves individualized support, meaningful learning experiences and caring educators who understand child development. Our te achers are dedicated to nurturing each child’s academic, social, emotional and developmental growth, helping them build the confidence and skills needed for future success.
World of Knowledge Child Development Center and Preschool is more than a childcare center — it is a place where children are loved, supported, challenged and encouraged to grow every day. Since opening in 2005, World of Knowledge has proudly served families by providing high-quality early childhood education in a safe, nurturing and engaging environment.
At World of Knowledge, children are viewed as capable learners. World of Knowledge serves children from infancy through school age, offering care for ages 6 weeks through 13 years.

Teachers use three curricula to give your child the best start:
- Learning Beyond Paper – Developmentally appropriate activities that encourage children to explore, create, problem-solve, and build relationships while learning important academic and social-emotional skills. Rather than relying on worksheets, children learn through engaging experiences that foster curiosity and a love of learning.
- Second Step® – Early-learning program focused on social and emotional skills development using games and activities for ages 3-5 to build self awareness and confidence
- Learning without Tears formally, Handwriting Without Tears™ – Using age appropriate activities and engaging techniques, the curriculum helps children master handwriting for early literacy and writing confidence
