Tell us a little about your business. – Pro Business Plans (Business-Plans.com) gives strategic business consulting and funding support to every entrepreneur.

How did you get started in the business? – I had been a consultant and operator for years in the hyper-growth tech space but was tired of working for other people. I wanted to help people like me do their passions fearlessly while having mitigated many of the associated risks of starting their own thing.

What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced professionally? – Exposure. Even though I bought an existing business with a long history and thousands of customers, it was very transactional before. Now the goal is letting the world know we work as a team, from idea to funding and beyond.

What has been your most important achievement professionally? – Buying and starting my businesses. The autonomy and fulfillment of doing what I love and writing my own paycheck are incredible feelings.

Tell us a little about your family. – I’ve been married to my wife for 17 wonderful years. We have 4 children, a cat and two dogs.

What do you see as one of the biggest turning points in your life? – When I had my oldest child, my relationship with everything in life changed dramatically. I had to grow up fast and find ways to provide. I’ve learned a lot in the 15 years since then.

What is your favorite thing to do on a day off? – I like the outdoors a lot. Walking, running, hiking, cycling, etc. I also love making music and have been doing that in my spare time my whole life.

What is the most unique or interesting thing about you that most people probably don’t know? – I have multiple albums available on Spotify and Apple Music you can listen to at any time.

Who inspires you? – Anyone willing to take ownership of something in their lives. Whether it’s their livelihood by buying or starting a business, or their health by changing their habits, it’s all super inspiring to me.

What is your favorite quote or the best piece of advice you’ve ever received? – My grandfather was a pretty successful guy. He once said “good businesses do 3 things: provide a service to the community, make a fair profit, and never tell a lie.” I’ve found that to be extremely valuable advice as I’ve built my business and helped others do the same.

If you could choose only one descriptive word to be remembered as, what would it be? – Dedicated.

If you could have a super power, what would it be? – Slow down or stop time.

Which talent would you most like to have? – I think being able to dance really well would be fun.

If you could choose any other profession to be successful in, what would it be? – Songwriter.

What is your favorite book or the last good book you read? – The last book I read was Freemium by Dave Boyce.
