Weddings, Celebrations of Life, Fundraising Galas, Corporate Training Seminars and more! We love seeing people come together in our space and really getting to know our customers in the process.

How did you get started in the business? – I got started in the wedding industry through my background in customer service. I met my husband at SchillingBridge Cork and Tap House in Fallbrook, and shortly after, we started planning our own wedding. After getting married, I realized how much I genuinely enjoyed the planning process and thought it would be so fun as a career. I saw an Instagram post about Venue 5 Twenty-Two while it was still under construction, reached out about employment and the rest is history!

What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced professionally? – One of the biggest challenges I’ve faced professionally was navigating a major transition. A business I had been a part of for many years closed and I found myself adapting to a completely different work environment. It was difficult to adjust to changes in culture, expectations and the way the team and customers were approached. Ultimately, though, that experience taught me a lot about resilience, adaptability and the type of workplace culture I value.

What has been your most important achievement professionally? – Professionally, I am most proud of the relationships I was able to build while working in the restaurant industry and the personal growth that came from that experience. Working in a restaurant pushed me out of my comfort zone and helped me become a much more confident and sociable person.

What is your favorite thing to do on a day off? – On a day off in summer, my husband and I can be found either at a pool or on a golf course. In the winter, I enjoy reading a good book.

Who inspires you? – My dad has always been one of my biggest inspirations. He is probably the hardest-working and most selfless person I know. He has taught me that success isn’t just about what you accomplish professionally. Being a good person, building genuine relationships, and making a positive impact on the people around you can be even more meaningful. Those are lessons I carry with me in both my personal and professional life.

If you could choose any other profession to be successful in, what would it be? – If I could choose any other profession, I would probably choose interior design. I think it would be so much fun to create a vision for a space, from choosing the color palette and finishes to pulling everything together to make the room feel complete.

What is your favorite book or the last good book you read? – I would say my favorite book series has been the Throne of Glass series. It’s a long 8 book series and the story building is incredible. I haven’t read anything like it since!

What is your favorite TV show? – My favorite TV show is Game of Thrones. Shortly after my husband and I started dating, I found out he had never seen it, so of course I had to introduce him to it! After just a few episodes, he was completely hooked. It has become one of our favorite shows to watch together.
