Tell us a little about your business. – At Bell Business Solutions we strive to understand precisely the needs, strategies and overall goals of our customers.  We go beyond software services and offer efficiency by bridging the gap between technology driven and specific business processes.  It is our goal to design cost-effective, integrated solutions that give the most benefit for the least amount of effort.  We differ from others in that we believe in an end-user approach that is specific to your operations and our full range of services give you the tools needed to utilize your new system successfully.

How did you get started in the business? – My background is in accounting, but early in my career I was exposed to software development and I absolutely fell in love.  Over the course of my career, I have helped many small businesses with their accounting and/or software systems. The interesting thing, and why I am doing what I am doing today, is that regardless of the industry or customer, more often than not these small businesses were essentially facing the same struggles.  I would be hired to help get their books in order and end up implementing an entire system.  The truth is, getting, and keeping, your business’ data organized and efficient is a combination of good systems/software, resources and processes. And without that integrated solution, getting your data in order is only a temporary fix.

What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced professionally? – Finding the balance between being a professional and being mom.  In 2009 I lost my job when I got pregnant.  I’ve worked very hard to try and accomplish both successfully.

What has been your most important achievement professionally? – A couple of months ago I began providing computer classes to women who are overcoming hardships and are trying to re-enter the workforce.  It may not be my most important in terms of success, but it is definitely one of the coolest things I have ever been a part of.

Tell me a little about your family. – My husband and I met when we were 11 years old and he is my best friend.  We have two beautiful and intelligent little boys; 7 and 4.

What is your favorite thing to do on a day off? – Pedi and shopping!

What is the most unique or interesting thing about you that most people probably don’t know? – I can play the drums.

What are you the most proud of? – My marriage and my children.

What is your greatest talent that you don’t utilize in your daily work life? – I love doing graphic design and I am a great party planner.

If you could choose any other profession to be successful in, what would it be? – Teaching

What is your favorite local restaurant? – Red Lobster
