Tell us a little about your business. – I act as a trusted advisor and negotiator, helping my clients make informed decisions and ensuring the process goes smoothly from start to finish. I help my clients set competitive prices, negotiate with buyers, find suitable properties, arrange showings, navigate offers and everything during the process of buying, including inspections and financing guidance. How did you get started in the business? – I wanted a career where I could make my family a priority and still focus on helping people. I had a conversation with mentors and my husband and then reached out to Ben Bleicher to see what would be required and got started.
What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced professionally? – Networking and figuring out how to stand out without being pushy and aggressive.
What has been your most important achievement professionally? – Proving I can do this while having priorities and bringing in a great income.
Tell us a little about your family. – I have a supportive husband named Mike. We have three children: Jameason 14, Norah 9, and Isaak 7. We also have 2 dogs, 1 cat, and 6 fish.
What do you see as one of the biggest turning points in your life? – When I moved to Nebraska on my own. It gave me the opportunity to dig deep inside myself and find my own path. I made my relationship with God my own, my friendships were all new and I was able to discern real ones and fake work ones, it strengthened family relationships, and allowed me to rely on my own strength to figure out who I was and what I was capable of without living in someone else’s shadow.
What is your favorite thing to do on a day off? – Hang out with my children and let them design our fun days. They range from staying home and building forts in the living room to going and making candles, the zoo or putt-putt with friends. There’s so many creative things that they think of and we sit down, put a budget together for our day, and then decide what we are going to do to make the memories.
What is the most unique or interesting thing about you that most people probably don’t know? – I was born in Nuremberg, Bavaria, Germany.
What is your favorite quote or the best piece of advice you’ve ever received? – “Stop worrying about what you aren’t and start being happy about who you are.” – John Hagee.
If you had a theme song, what would it be? – “Build a Boat” by Colton Dixon.
If you could have a super power, what would it be? – Power Negation. I would turn off all evil powers so we would all live in peace.
Which talent would you most like to have? – A better singing voice. My children love to have a song sang to them every night at bedtime.
What local nonprofit organization(s) are you passionate about or involved with, and are there any special reasons why? – Lynette’s Angels: The mission of Lynette’s Angels is to provide an amazing Christmas for families impacted by cancer. Foster Care Closet: They provide children in crisis and placed in foster care with immediate needs and continued.
What is your favorite book or the last good book you read? – I just finished Don’t Give the Enemy a Seat at Your Table by Louie Giglio.
What is your favorite local Lincoln restaurant? – Mi Mexico Lindo.
