Tell us a little about your business. – We are an independently owned auto repair shop that focuses on the customer, we strive to inform and educate to ensure each guest is confident with the choices they are making to repair and maintain their vehicles.

How did you get started in the business? – I fell into it. I had moved here and was looking for something new, my bosses took a chance on me and I fell in love with the industry.

What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced professionally? – Being a woman in a primarily male dominated field comes with many hurdles. Some people take a long time to come around to the idea that I can know as much as if not more than a man about the ins and outs of auto repair.

What has been your most important achievement professionally? – Consistently meeting and exceeding my goals and earning the trust of my fantastic customers. It always fills me to the brim with joy to hear someone say I am their go to person when they need advice on what to do next with their vehicle to keep it safe and reliable.

Tell us a little about your family. – It’s just me and my two cats Mo and George against the world!

What do you see as one of the biggest turning points in your life? – Definitely deciding to move here. I had never lived outside a 30 mile radius of where I was born and just needed something more.

What is your favorite thing to do on a day off? – I have two kinds of favorite days off. One is just accomplishing a project at home that I’ve been wanting to do. I just bought my first home and I love a day to tackle a new project to make it even more the home of my dreams. The other is a relaxing day outside whether it’s camping and swimming in a lake nearby or rollerblading down the longest paved trail I can find.

What is the most unique or interesting thing about you that most people probably don’t know? – I do special effects makeup as a hobby and a very rare side gig. You can usually catch me at Halloween costume contests, usually in the top 3 contestants

What is your favorite quote or the best piece of advice you’ve ever received? – “We don’t make mistakes, just happy accidents.” – Bob Ross

If you could have a super power, what would it be? – Invisibility, I could sneak into so many shows and concerts.

What is your greatest talent that you don’t utilize in your daily work life? – My knack for arts and crafts.

Which talent would you most like to have? – I would love to do improv. My brain does not come up with witty things that fast and consistently. It’s an amazing talent.

What is your favorite book or the last good book you read? – I listened to The Dresden Files series and absolutely blew through it, I couldn’t check the audio books out fast enough.

What is your favorite TV show? – Great British Baking Show, Adventure Time, or Bobs Burgers.

What is your favorite local Lincoln restaurant? – Chopsticks for Chinese, Kripa for Indian, Blessing for Thai.

If you could have dinner with one famous person from the past or present, who would it be? – I think it’d just be a great time to have Dinner with Betty White.
