Meet Jenni Tran, the integrator at True North Technologies (Go-tnt.com).

Tell us a little about your business. – True North Technologies is a digital marketing company that is dedicated to cultivating people, businesses and communities. Here at True North, we excel at transforming your business vision into your website or social media and tell your story.

What has been your most important achievement professionally? – I would say obtaining my Nebraska Real Estate Broker’s license has been a huge accomplishment that I’m very proud of. I would also say constantly exploring new opportunities that take me out of my comfort zone and help me grow.

Tell us a little about your family. – I was born in Lincoln and grew up here. I have three kids, Braxton, Ella and Bowen. They all have very different, very large personalities and I love it. We also have two dogs and two cats, so we have a VERY full house!

What do you see as one of the biggest turning points in your life? – Meeting my now husband and moving back to Lincoln to settle down. I have been faced with huge opportunities to grow and learn here since I’ve moved back and feel that it was a big turning point for my career and my family.

What is your favorite thing to do on a day off? – I love to read and take naps in my down time! We also like to take our dogs to the dog park, and on nice days play games out in the back yard with family, friends and the kids. I also really like to do puzzles, but many times it is too hard with the kids and animals to keep them from breaking it or losing pieces!

What is your favorite quote or the best piece of advice you’ve ever received? – One of my favorite quotes is “comparison is the thief of joy” because as simply as it says, everyone is running a different race with different finish lines. I try hard to make a conscious effort each day to keep this at the forefront of my mind to achieve better results for myself instead of spending my time comparing my work or results to others.

If you could choose only one descriptive word to be remembered as, what would it be? – I would like to be remembered as resilient or persistent. Sometimes, the best successes come from trudging through the muck and coming out on the other side!

If you could have a super power, what would it be? – Super speed so I could get to far away destinations quickly with very little travel time to be able to enjoy the sights for longer!

Which talent would you most like to have? – Something crafty or artsy. I don’t have the creative vision or talent to create beautiful art but it’s something I’ve always wanted to be able to do well and be able to enjoy it.

What is your favorite TV show?Friends! I’ve watched the entire series multiple times and still love to re-watch it when I run out of new shows on my list to explore.

What is your favorite local restaurant? – Taco Inn. I grew up having it often as it was always a favorite of my dad’s and now my kids and I enjoy it on a regular basis. I actually just had it for lunch today!
