Jerry Madison was working at Gallup when his friend from college, Todd Mosser, called him to ask if he would be interested in being the new general manager for the Lincoln Racquet Club as he had just purchased it. Since he had been an Engagement Specialist with Gallup for 13 years, he felt confident he could help him run the club and jumped at the chance. The Lincoln Racquet Club, Inc. (LRC) began in 1972 with 10 limited partners. Originally, the 40,000 square foot Club consisted of 6 indoor tennis courts and 3 outdoor tennis courts and was a “Tennis Only” club.  Today, Lincoln Racquet Club, Family Health and Fitness Complex has more than 92,000 square feet to accommodate all types of fitness needs. In October 2011, the Club was purchased by Todd and Amy Mosser.
