How did you get started in the business?
I started my career in skilled nursing in 2014 in Life Enrichment. I quickly began to identify my love for the geriatric population, and I began working at Lancaster Rehab in 2015 as the life enrichment coordinator. I soon transitioned to the Social Services department where I found my passion.
What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced professionally?
Barriers to accessing adequate support for some residents, including resources for home and psychosocial support. All too often, finances become a huge barrier for support and resources.

When the weather allows, I love to golf.
What is the most unique or interesting thing about you that most people probably don’t know?
When I was younger, I learned how to crochet. I have crocheted many scarves, hats, and a couple of afghan blankets.

I am constantly inspired by my mom. She has gone through so many difficult, life-changing experiences in her life but continues to have the absolute most positive outlook every single day.
What is your favorite quote or the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?
