How did you get started in the business?

What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced professionally?

Barriers to accessing adequate support for some residents, including resources for home and psychosocial support. All too often, finances become a huge barrier for support and resources.

Tell us a little about your family.

What do you see as one of the biggest turning points in your life?

Working in geriatrics has taught me so much about day-to-day life, planning for the future, and never taking anything for granted.

When the weather allows, I love to golf.

What is the most unique or interesting thing about you that most people probably don’t know?

When I was younger, I learned how to crochet. I have crocheted many scarves, hats, and a couple of afghan blankets.

I am constantly inspired by my mom. She has gone through so many difficult, life-changing experiences in her life but continues to have the absolute most positive outlook every single day.

What is your favorite quote or the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?

“Que sera, sera” which means, whatever will be, will be. My grandma always said this and whenever I find myself stuck or fretting over something, I think of this quote.

Empathetic.

If you had a theme song, what would it be?

“The River” by Garth Brooks.

Dancing! I grew up dancing and teach lessons in my spare time.
