Tell us a little about your family.
I have been married to my amazing husband for seven years. Without him my accomplishments and dreams would not have come true. He is my rock in bad times and continues to push me to my full potential. We have two precious girls, Makenna and Addison. They are the light of our lives and keep us very busy!

What do you see as one of the biggest turning points in your life?
One of the biggest turning points in my life was graduation with my doctorate. At this point in time I was scared, nervous, and anxious, but I knew this was my chance to show everything I was passionate about.

What is your favorite thing to do on a day off?
Movie night at the house. Our kids always pick the silliest movies and I can’t complain about all the cuddling we get!

What is the most unique or interesting thing about you that most people probably don’t know?
I have been a Type 1 diabetic since I was 11 months old.  Growing up this was a secret I never told anyone because I thought they would think I was some kind of diseased kid or that they would catch it. As an adult now, I love talking to people about it, sharing my triumphs with the disease and giving tips, advice and life experiences with it.

What are you the most proud of?
Oh boy there is a list of all the things I am proud of. I think one that hits the top is making it though Chiropractic school with a strong family.

What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?
When my husband and I first got married, my father sent us a list of 10 rules to always follow in marriage. One of them was to always say I love you even if it is habit.

What is your greatest talent that you don’t utilize in your daily work life?
Riding a motorcycle! I learned in my early 20’s and enjoyed every second of it.

Which talent would you most like to have?
I would like to be more artistic.

If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
I tend to beat myself up about the small things. I wish I would be able to brush things off more easily and not get so worked up over the small stuff.

What is your favorite book or the last good book you read?
Favorite book of all time would have to be The China Study.

What is your favorite movie?
Ok I’ll admit this…..I’m a Twilight Saga fanatic in hiding!

What is your favorite TV show?
Two and a Half Men

What is your favorite Lincoln restaurant?
Kinja
