Tell us a little about your business. – Our business is founded on the belief that we will clean our clients’ home the way we would clean our own. With that in mind our company doesn’t use any harsh chemicals that would be harmful to your family and/or your pets. We pay close attention to detail. The small things that others may not notice do not get by us. Our employees either meet or exceed the high standards Crystal and I set for them.

How did you get started in the business? – When I was 18, I was looking for a job. I decided that I would try out something that I enjoyed and was really good at so I started working for a cleaning company in Florida. When I moved to Lincoln I wanted to find a company that I could grow with. It took me awhile to find the right fit but when I met Crystal I knew my search was over. I am so excited and proud to be a part of this company.

Tell us a little about your family. – I have a wonderful 5-year-old daughter and a handsome 10-year-old stepson. My parents have been married for 37 years and I have three brothers and five sisters.

What do you see as one of the biggest turning points in your life? – I would have to say moving to Nebraska. Coming from Florida I didn’t really think I would like being this far away from the ocean. However I have grown to love it here, and couldn’t see living anywhere else.

What is the most unique or interesting thing about you that most people probably don’t know? – I really like to watch documentaries. I could watch them for hours on just about anything.

What are you the most proud of? – My children and my role at Crystal Clean Housekeeping.

What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever received? – My mother has always told me to try and find the positive in everything. No matter how small, there is always a positive side.

If you could have a super power, what would it be? – Flying would be awesome and would save me so much on gas!

If you could choose any other profession to be successful in, what would it be? – I have always thought I would be a good addiction counselor and considered going to college for the degree but I love my job too much now to change career fields.

What local non-profit organization(s) are you passionate about or involved with, and are there any special reasons why? – I donate to the Wounded Warrior Fund because I believe that it is so important to help those men and women who have sacrificed so much for my freedom.

What is your favorite local restaurant? – Parkers Smokehouse and Down the Hatch.

If you could have dinner with one famous person from the past or present, who would it be? – I think I would like to sit down and have dinner with Moses. He was an amazing leader and teacher.
