Tell us a little about your business. – We offer a variety of staffing solutions to meet our clients’ specific needs including long term staffing, special projects, planned/seasonal staffing, and professional placements.
What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced professionally? – I would have to say making sure I balance my head and my heart. I am very much one who wants the best for everyone, am very trusting, and am willing to take the time to help, listen and develop people, yet have to remember in business, if not careful, it can be costly.
Tell us a little about your family. – I have three beautiful girls ages 13, 12, and 10. We absolutely love people and enjoy doing and hosting things with friends or just finding new things to experience.
What is your favorite thing to do on a day off? – I love to run, work out, and spend time with family and friends.
What is the most unique or interesting thing about you that most people probably don’t know? – I provided foster care when I was 22 for a 15- and 16-year-old. It was a difficult and humbling experience.
What are you the most proud of? – My three girls. They are so positive, fun, encouraging, and easy to parent. I am so blessed; amidst all of the trials we have had, they have continued to grow in their faith and have been such an encouragement to those around them.
What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever received? – It’s OK to not be OK; it’s just not OK to stay there. It’s amazing how many problems in our lives are never fixed, mended, and healed and are reoccurring due to masking, ignoring, or simply just fixing the symptoms and not the root.
If you could choose only one descriptive word to be remembered as, what would it be? – Passionate. If you don’t stand for something you will fall for anything. I have a lot of faith and put a lot of care in all things that I do.
What is your greatest talent that you don’t utilize in your daily work life? – I really love to bake and cook. I guess I could choose to do more and spoil my office as when I owned a coffee shop, I baked many of our desserts and breakfast items from scratch.
Which talent would you most like to have? – To interior decorate. I have the vision; I just need to be able to actually put it all together to look good.
If you could choose any other profession to be successful in, what would it be? – I would love to be a motivational speaker.
What is your favorite book or the last good book you read? – Purpose Awakening by Touré Roberts.
What is your favorite movie? – That is tough as I have many I really like, but a few are Chasing Mavericks, P.S. I Love You, and War Room.
What is your favorite local restaurant? – MōMō Pizzeria & Ristorante.
