The Ambassador Health System is an experienced skilled nursing facility for short term in-patient rehabilitation.  After a hospital stay following an injury, illness, or surgery they provide physical, occupational, speech, and/or respiratory therapies to help patients regain their independence.  The Ambassador team is composed of Hospital-To-Home Transition Specialists who practice The Art of Caring daily.  Sarah Hellbusch is the Marketing Specialist for The Ambassador Health System-Lincoln.

Tell me a little about your business. – I have the privilege of promoting a company that helps people.  I really enjoy making connections through consultative visits with patients at the hospitals, networking in the community, and having a creative outlet via marketing/advertising tasks.

How did you get started in the business? – My past experiences in pharmaceutical sales and transportation sales management formed a foundation for both Healthcare and B2B environments.  Building on that foundation and finding a creative outlet to take it to the next level make this position a perfect blend of my favorite tasks!

What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced professionally? – Finding a balance between work and family so I can be most successful.  I am happy to have a position that allows me to excel at both.

Tell me a little about your family. – I am blessed to be the mother of my most amazing, caring, and talented 12 year old daughter.  She and I love singing, shopping, and traveling together.  My parents and brothers have always encouraged and supported me to achieve success in all areas of life.  On top of being loving family members, they are also fantastic examples of respected, driven, and creative entrepreneurs.

What do you see as one of the biggest turning points in your life? – Motherhood.

What is your favorite thing to do on a day off? – Something social!  Going out to dinner or a musical production, host a gathering, going for a walk…anything to avoid doing laundry!

What is the most unique or interesting thing about you that most people probably don’t know? – I took a class where I broke a board with my hand about 5 years ago… I have no idea how I did it!

What are you the most proud of? – Persevering and accomplishing professional and personal goals in spite of obstacles, with the help of my faith and family, which has launched me to the place in life where I am right now.

What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever received? – Pray every day, and be intentional about Christianity in all areas of life…not only to enhance celebrations, but also to have hope in any tough circumstances.

If you could choose only one descriptive word to be remembered as, what would it be? – Genuine

If you could have a super power, what would it be? – The ability to travel at lightning speed so I won’t be late!

What is your greatest talent that you don’t utilize in your daily work life? – Singing/Dancing

Which talent would you most like to have? – To play the piano.

What is your favorite book or the last good book you read? – The Bible

What is your favorite movie? – Mamma Mia

What is your favorite TV show? – Hawaii Five 0 and Castle

What is your favorite local restaurant? – Lazlo’s or La Paz.
