Tell us a little about your business. – Venue At Home is your answer for weekly meal preparation. With chef-inspired meals delivered to your door every week, prepared fresh, and ready to heat and eat. Convenience and creativity are our keys to creating this amazing meal program. The price of our meals broken down is less than $6 per serving. You don’t have to leave your house, contemplate dinner, spend money on gas, shop, dice, cook, wash dishes, etc. for this meal. Doesn’t that sound nice? Our heart’s desire is Great Food, Great People, and Fair Pricing—allowing you to spend more quality time with your family as we do the work for you. We do our best to satisfy the vast number of tasting profiles. Our menu offers a wide variety of options, from grill packs, seasonings, house-made dressings, entrees, sides and starters to desserts, cocktails, wine, beer, and more.

How did you get started in the business? – My first job in the industry was making pizzas at Little Caesars.

What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced professionally? – The biggest challenge has been working for chefs who can be really hard on their cooks, but it makes you better and stronger.

What has been your most important achievement professionally? – The first time I got the role as a head chef was at Ploughshare Brewing.

Tell us a little about your family. – I have a beautiful wife named Sharon and two incredible daughters, Layla and Siena.

What do you see as one of the biggest turning points in your life? – Meeting my wife, hands down.

What is your favorite thing to do on a day off? – I love to relax and enjoy the weather outside while working in my garden.

What is the most unique or interesting thing about you that most people probably don’t know? – I make hot sauces at home just for fun.

What is your favorite quote or the best piece of advice you’ve ever received? – “The things you own end up owning you.” – Fight Club

If you could choose only one descriptive word to be remembered as, what would it be? – Hilarious.

If you had a theme song, what would it be? – “We Will Rock You” by Queen.

If you could have a super power, what would it be? – Invincibility.

What is your greatest talent that you don’t utilize in your daily work life? – Public speaking. There’s not a lot of opportunity for it when you’re in a kitchen.

Which talent would you most like to have? – Photographic memory.

What local nonprofit organization(s) are you passionate about or involved with, and are there any special reasons why? – Matt Talbot and Community Crops. I’m passionate about making sure everyone has access to good food for themselves and their children.

What is your favorite TV show? – Seinfeld.
