Tell us a little about your business.

At Greenleaf, we believe in building relationships and strive to understand each client’s objectives and develop a strategy to meet their specific needs. Whether you are looking to buy, sell, lease, or build, Greenleaf Commercial does it all!

How did you get started in the business?

I wanted a new challenge and one was presented to me with this great company. I just knew I had to jump at it, and I’m incredibly grateful I did!

What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced professionally?

Completely learning a new field and industry that I knew nothing about prior to working with Greenleaf. I’m grateful for this challenge because it has allowed me to grow and learn in the field every day.

Tell us a little about your family.

I have two daughters, Lilli (9) and Willow (6), and a dog named Jagger. He’s a big mama’s boy… more so than my daughters.

What do you see as one of the biggest turning points in your life?

Becoming a mother. Once you become a parent, everything about your prospective on life changes—you see things way differently than you ever have before. Every decision you make and everything you do is not only for you, it’s for your child as well so you are definitely more careful and think everything through first.

What is your favorite thing to do on a day off?

Take my dog to the dog park with my daughters.

Who inspires you?

My mentor Jenny Tricker has inspired me in literally every aspect of my life—in my career, my finances, my family, and she has even taught me a thing or two about cars (she will laugh at that). Jenny has also taught me to always look for ways to improve, push myself to grow, and challenge myself to do and think of things that are “outside of the box”. Overall, she has encouraged me to stay focused on the positive things life brings and, when life does challenge me with a tough situation, all I need to do is take a step back, reflect, and tackle one step forward at a time.

What is your favorite quote or the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?

“Unless you try something beyond what you have already mastered, you will never grow.”

If you had a theme song, what would it be?

“Comedown” by Bush.

If you could choose only one descriptive word to be remembered as, what would it be?

Ambitious.

Which talent would you most like to have?

To be able to teach myself how to play an instrument by ear. Growing up, I watched my sister teach herself how to play the guitar, keyboard, and trombone basically all by herself. It was amazing.

What is your favorite book or the last good book you read?

The Power of Letting Go by John Purkiss.

What is your favorite movie?

Wolf of Wall Street.

What is your favorite TV show?

Game of Thrones.

What is your favorite local restaurant?

Las Margaritas.

If you could have dinner with one famous person from the past or present, who would it be?

Mick Jagger.
