Tell us a little about your business.

Our team will spend the quality time it takes to learn what your preferences and goals are so that you can live your best life, one that reflects your choices. At Fallbrook, we live out the message, “It’s all about you.” Ultimately, we believe that we are people of value who value people.

How did you get started in the business?

I have been a nursing home administrator for 28 years. I’ve been fortunate to work in post-acute care, long term care, and assisted living. I grew up working in nursing homes and learned to love seniors. It’s such a rewarding industry and so much more to me than just a job.

What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced professionally?

There is a constant need to advocate for reimbursement for senior care. Over the years, I have served on many committees and work groups to advocate for appropriate reimbursement for Medicaid and Medicare. Providers are underfunded and those two programs are constantly being evaluated for reductions. It requires consistent and careful focus for providers.

Tell us a little about your family.

I recently got married in October of 2018. My husband also works in the long-term care industry so he is extremely supportive of my commitment to the people and staff I serve. My children have blessed me with many grandchildren, and they are truly the best part of my life.

What do you see as one of the biggest turning points in your life?

There have been several, but they all involve people who have believed in me and invested in my growth. Because of their example, I am always looking to identify people who I can invest in and help them grow.

What is the most unique or interesting thing about you that most people probably don’t know?

I love to play the guitar and ride motorcycles.

Who inspires you?

My children. They are wonderful human beings
