Meet Zach Brandl, REALTOR® at Professional Realty Group (PRG) of Woods Bros Realty.
Tell us a little about your business. – PRG (zachbrandl.woodsbros.com) helps clients buy and sell residential and commercial properties in Lincoln and the surrounding areas, as well as industrial, land development, and new construction. We also do some leasing selectively. Our team has sold apartment complexes, commercial buildings, and land. The team is led by Ben and Andrea Bleicher. We have a strong network of connections and resources within the world of Lincoln real estate.
How did you get started in the business? – I started out in the business as a property manager right out of college. I had the opportunity to learn the investment side of things and how investors look at properties versus how renters do. I also got to help a few investors find rentals and then help lease them out. I then decided to get my real estate license and do sales full time.
What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced professionally? – I faced the challenges of being one of the youngest in the industry when I first got in it. I had to prove myself through hard work and dedication to my clients’ needs.
What has been your most important achievement professionally? – The second year that I was considered “full-time”, I ended up doubling my production which has been a huge success in my years of doing real estate.
What is your favorite thing to do on a day off? – Anytime I have a day off I enjoy being outside. This entails camping, boating, working in my yard/garden, and sitting on the patio.
What is the most unique or interesting thing about you that most people probably don’t know? – I raised a few dozen chickens on my parent’s farm when I was in high school.
What is your favorite quote or the best piece of advice you’ve ever received? – “Don’t put off until tomorrow what you can do today.” – Benjamin Franklin
If you could choose only one descriptive word to be remembered as, what would it be? – Driven.
If you had a theme song, what would it be? – “Running Down a Dream” by Tom Petty.
If you could have a super power, what would it be? – I would love to be able to teleport.
What is your greatest talent that you don’t utilize in your daily work life? – My greatest talent is I have an open communication line with clients, vendors, and others involved in my business dealings. Communication is 100% my top priority.
If you could choose any other profession to be successful in, what would it be? – I grew up wanting to be an architect and design spaces for more urban areas. I love designing and incorporating this aspect into my current business. I think this would be a pretty neat profession.
What is your favorite TV show? – It’s a close tie between Ozark and Yellowstone.
What is your favorite local restaurant? – Hacienda Real.
If you could have dinner with one famous person from the past or present, who would it be? – Hands down, Melissa McCarthy, because she is just hilarious.
