In the winter months of early 2024, Union Bank & Trust (ubt.com) hosted a series of makers markets at Union Bank Place, their new home in downtown Lincoln. With great feedback from local vendors and the shoppers who stopped in to see them, they brought the event back for 2024-25 to being shoppers and vendors together!
They’ve selected a full slate of talented local vendors, with each upcoming event featuring a lineup of about 25 vendors, which will be announced before each market. The free-to-attend events also include some fun family crafts and other treats.
A special facet of the makers markets is the artwork of the late Lynne Faulkner, a beloved local artist and long-time art teacher with Lincoln Public Schools. Sales of her artwork will go to a fund powering art education in Lincoln schools.
Upcoming events include:
Cupid’s Arrow Market Saturday, February 8 | 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
If you’re wondering what to get that special someone for Valentine’s Day, stop by their vendor booths for the best handmade products for those you love — or treat yourself.
Spring Forward Market Saturday, April 5 | 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
They’ll be ringing in Spring weather with one last market, full of family fun, great handmade products, and plenty of giveaways.
All makers markets will take place in Union Bank Place at 1248 O St. in downtown Lincoln. Entry is free.
